NTM USA Home Office

NTM USA's Home Office coordinates the activities of NTM missionaries from the USA worldwide, and is home to NTM's Field Ministries leaders, who oversee all of New Tribes Mission's activities around the globe.

Type of work: General maintenance and construction; clerical work. There are also some opportunities to volunteer in specialized areas such as computer programming and graphic design on a long-term or per-task basis.

Location: Sanford, Florida, is just north of the most popular family vacation spot in the USA, Orlando.

Attractions: Walt Disney World and Universal Studios headline a variety of local attractions. One hour north by freeway is the world's most famous beach, Daytona Beach, and two hours in the other direction takes you to Tampa and St. Petersburg on the Gulf Coast.

NTM Retirement Center

The NTM Retirement Center serves the needs of missionaries who have retired from works around the world.

Type of work: Maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and construction, concrete, grounds and landscape, painting, mechanics, equipment operating, housekeeping, etc. Volunteers may also be able to help at the assisted living facility: cooks, nursing and personal care, cleaning, etc. We try to use people in the service areas they most would desire and have experience in but we cannot guarantee specific types of work.

Facilities: You can use one of our RV sites with full hookups at no charge when you volunteer. You will also have access to our clubhouse, which has restroom facilities with showers; laundry; and an area used for meals, breaks and games.

Missionary Training Center

The Missionary Training Center equips men and women to join the New Tribes Mission church planting team in Latin America, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Type of work: Building new fourplexes, a new education building, landscaping, repairing heavy equipment, and other construction-related work. Volunteers with experience in construction are especially needed. The campus is expanding so more missionaries can be trained to expand the reach of the Gospel.

Facilities: Air-conditioned guest facilities and an RV park with hook-ups.

Location: The Missionary Training Center is outside Camdenton in central Missouri.

Attractions: The 350-acre campus is on the Lake of the Ozarks, with numerous opportunities for boating and fishing. One hour from Springfield and two hours from Branson, Missouri. You'll also have the opportunity to rub shoulders with young singles and couples preparing to take the Gospel around the world, and meet veteran missionaries on staff at the Missionary Training Center.

NTM Aviation

NTM Aviation has a facility in southern Arizona that serves as the headquarters for New Tribes Mission's aviation program worldwide. Administration, training and some aircraft maintenance take place here.

Type of work: General maintenance and grounds. (Students perform aviation-related work as part of their training, so aviation volunteers are not generally needed.)

Facilities: 20 RV hookups with full service, laundry facilities, and general meeting area.

Location: 20 miles north of the Mexican border, two hours southeast of Tucson, we are located in the Sulphur Springs valley with beautiful mountains surrounding us. It is a high desert environment with cactus, ocotillo, and other various desert landscaping.

Attractions: Tombstone and the O.K. Corral are about 30 miles away. Some 35 miles away are Bisbee and the Copper Queen mine. The former home of the Apaches and their chiefs such as Geronimo and Cochise -- the Chiricahua National Monument, featuring the Wonderland of Rocks -- is approximately 60 miles away.

NTM Jersey Shore Mobilization Center

NTM Jersey Shore Mobilization Center is home to the Wayumi mission exposure program, as well as a retreat and conference center.

Type of work: General maintenance such as painting or minor repairs; grounds upkeep; plumbing and hot water heat renovations; occasional building projects; furniture renovation; cleaning.

Facilities: Hotel-style guest rooms and small apartments are available. Electrical hookups for an RV could be arranged. The campus also has laundry facilities, a gymnasium and exercise facilities, and wireless internet access.

Location: Lycoming County of central Pennsylvania, fifteen minutes from Williamsport. About four hours from both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
