Missionary training at the NTM Missionary Training Center is primarily a four-semester cross-cultural church planting course
All aspects of church planting in cross-cultural context are studied.
Courses include:
- Biblical Basis for Church Planting
- Christian Life I and II
- Culture Basics
- Cross-Cultural Communication
- Culture and Language Acquisition
- Principles of Bible Translation
- Linguistic Analysis
- Animism
- Curriculum Development
- Teamwork
The larger portion of NTM missionaries are support workers
serving in ministries that allow church planters to concentrate
on their ministry. Because support workers also live in
a cross-cultural context, all modules relevant to cross-cultural
ministry are required of support workers.
Support workers will be given introductory modules of some church planting
course to familiarize them with the ministry of the church
planter; Church Planting Overview and Curriculum Development
