Our two to three-semester curriculum includes:
- Phonetics—how to learn the sound system of a tribal language
- Culture and Language Acquisition—how to learn a tribal language and worldview
- Linguistic Analysis—how to discover the grammatical structure and develop an orthography
- Literacy—how to teach tribal people to read and write their own language
- Bible Translation—principles of accurately conveying the Word of God in another language
- Health and Wellness—addressing the unique concerns of staying healthy in tribal settings
- Missionary Technology—how to use tools that will enhance your work
- Church Planting—the overall strategy for accomplishing your goal
