An Inanbimali believer is teaching God's Word to his father -- the area witchdoctor -- and the rest of his family.
For every Bible lesson that is taught, the Inanbimali team has made a one-page summary for the listeners to take home and read.
Job, Brooks lesson helper, took all the lesson summaries to his father and brothers, who live in a village a day and a half hike away.
One of his brothers started reading the summaries to the rest of the family at night, and they began storing up questions to ask Job when he returned.
As Job hiked back to check on his family, he found his dad standing on the banks of the lake. His father yelled to him, "Youngest son, youngest son, I am waiting for you to come explain this talk to me. Don't waste time I am not long for this ground. Come explain what all this means." So Job sat through the night and taught God's Word to his family, all the way from Adam through the fall of mankind.
Job has been saved for only about two months, but he understands his God-given responsibility. The next time he saw Brooks, he said: "If God has [chosen] for my family not to be ignorant of this talk, then the only way they will hear is from my mouth. In my hands they sit" -- meaning he sees himself as responsible for giving them the message of life.
Pray that God will give Job wisdom as he continues to travel back to his father's village to bring this message. Pray for his family that they will understand and believe.
