Angels sing in Heaven
After months of teaching evangelistic Bible lessons to Northern Tepehuan women in Mexico, missionaries are celebrating along with the angels in Heaven.
Over the last year missionary Shirley Bauman taught chronological Bible lessons to several ladies in two homes and this week some of them trusted Christ as their Savior.
At the conclusion of the lesson presenting the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, Manuela and her grown daughters, Rupa and Celestina, understood what Christ had done for them and joyfully placed their faith in Christ.
Missionary Starr Arnold also finished teaching evangelistic Bible lessons to Candalalia and Florentina this week. Candalalia has accepted the message of God's gift to her with joy and faith while Florentina has a desire to hear more and understand better.
Marcelo, a Northern Tepehuan believer, is teaching his mother and his siblings about living the Christian life. Matt and
Starr Arnold and Irv and Shirley Bauman are praying for Marcelo, Gregaorio and Octavio as they grow in the Lord.
Matt writes, "We are praying that these three men along with Juan [another believer] will sense the responsibility to lead the believers and care for them. Please pray for consistent and meaningful times together with these men to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus and to begin to help us shepherd the new believers."
