Northern Tepehuans soon to hear Gospel
Missionaries Starr Arnold and Shirley Bauman are approaching the climax of teaching evangelistic Bible lessons to a small group of Northern Tepehuan ladies in Mexico.
They began the lessons with Creation in Genesis and continued to the life of Christ. The ladies seem to have a clear understanding of the Bible from the lessons they have heard thus far.
Shirley has been teaching Valentina and her children, Manuela, Celestina, Rupa and Maria. This week they will learn about the Crucifixion of Christ. Pray for each one specifically to hear and understand the Gospel message.
Starr is teaching 18-year-old Candelalia twice a week and they will soon begin studying the life of Christ.
Starr and her husband, Matt, have just begun lessons with Licha and Santana and are teaching about the fall of Adam and Eve. Matt asked for prayer that they will have open hearts and minds as they listen to chronological teaching from the Bible.
Pray that the Northern Tepehuans hearing evangelistic Bible lessons will understand and believe God's Word and that their lives will be changed by the Truth. Pray also for the missionaries faithfully teaching them each week.
