Born to do this

Andy and Sara Royer have been literally moved by a burden to help reach those who have never had the opportunity to know Jesus.

“We still don’t know what all this journey holds, but I do know that this morning 2,500 people groups woke up without any word of truth to turn to. They are facing their day without the Light. They live fearful, desperate, lost. We want to invest our lives into making a difference in their tomorrows. If that means selling a house, parting with belongings, foregoing comforts, missing out on moments with loved ones here … we want to do so willingly. Realizing it is a sacrifice, but … He is worth it!”

This is an update from Andy and Sara Royer. They have completed orientation, sold their house and are preparing to move their family to Brazil.

They heard the Good News at an early age, and know Jesus as their Savior, King and Friend. But they realize there are entire people groups in Brazil who don’t have that choice because they have never heard.

It’s very hard to get visas for Brazil but since Andy was born there, it wasn’t hard for his family.

The Bible school there needs teachers who speak Portuguese well in order to help equip Brazilian missionaries to live and work in remote tribal settings.

Looking at how their lives have been orchestrated and directed by God, they are confident that they were born to fulfill this need for this time in history.

What part in history were you born for? “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.” (2 Corinthians 6:1)
